Processing Time
Our current processing time is 2-4 business days. We rarely keep any colorways in stock, and instead dye our yarn to order. This ensures that when you buy multiple hanks of the same colorway they all come from the same dye lot and are as similar as possible.
Backordering
Please allow an additional 1-2 weeks of processing time for items that have been backordered. All items from the same order ship out together.
Return Policy
We accept returns within 2 weeks of you receiving the order. Please message us as soon as possible for full return instructions using the “Contact” page, or emailing directly at contact@yarninateacup.com.
The item must be returned undamaged in it’s original state for you to receive a full refund. Unfortunately, yarn that has been unwound/caked might not be eligible for a full refund.
Yarn Concerns
Knots
Sometimes hanks have a knot or bump where yarn is joined in the spinning/twisting process. We have absolutely no control over this, and follow the policy of our yarn supplier: “Up to three bumps/knots in a hank lie within (our) tolerance specifications…”. If your yarn has more than three knots, is felted, or otherwise severely damaged, please reach out to us using our “Contact” page or emailing directly at contact@yarninateacup.com.
Color Bleeding
You might notice a bit of color bleeding into the water that you wash your yarn/finished object in. A small amount of bleeding is normal with red yarns and deeper colors. We do recommend prewashing your yarn before using it in color work projects.
