We recommend handwashing all hand dyed yarn including superwash yarn. Never use hot water on hand dyed yarn! You might notice a small amount of color bleeding, particularly with red yarns.

1. Fill a container with room temperature water (never hot!) and add a small amount of wool wash.
2. Add your knit/crochet item and let it soak until it's fully saturated with water (at least 20 minutes).
3. Pour out the soapy water and rinse your item with fresh water.
4. Gently squeeze out excess water from your item, making sure not to wring or twist the yarn.
5. Lay it flat on a towel, roll it up, and gently squeeze to get out as much water as possible.
6. Lay your item flat on a second dry towel to dry.
