It’s the middle of July and temperatures are soaring. A tank top and shorts are my go-to on a hot summer day, and the best tank tops are ones you knit yourself! I’ve hand-picked 10 free tank top knitting patterns that range from simple and easy to lacy and a bit more complex. 1. Heart on Fire by DROPS Design

The Heart on Fire top has 2 vertical lace panels on the front. There are evenly spaced eyelets on the rest of the top. It has thin spaghetti straps.
